Supplier Wazdan has entered the Philippines in collaboration with SG8, which will now offer the studio’s gaming portfolio to players in the nation.
The latest in a string of partnerships for Wazdan, this joint venture serves to further enhance its global footprint, while on the other side of the deal diversifying SG8’s offerings for its players in the Philippines.
The agreement includes the integration of 46 Wazdan games to SG8’s operator platform – which has been operating in the region since 2006. Wazdan will be hoping that SG8’s long-standing operational knowledge of the market will spell success for titles such as 9 Burning Dragons, 9 Buring Stars and 9 Coins.
Radka Bacheva, Head of Sales at Wazdan, commented on the partnership, saying: “The Philippines boasts an incredible amount of iGaming potential and so we are delighted to enter the market with SG8, a leading player within the country. We’re bringing a range of our top-performing titles to its platforms and are eager to see how Filipino players react to our innovative mechanics. We are in no doubt this is the beginning of a flourishing collaboration.”
Wazdan also recently announced a newly constructed Spanish collaboration with Casino777.es last week, making this latest venture the sixth partnership for the developer in the last month. However, the SG8 announcement marks the first collaborative effort outside of Europe and the Americas for Wazdan this year.
Also commenting on the partnership was Heng Chin Sheng, CEO of SG8, who stated: “It’s an honour to welcome Wazdan to the Filipino market for the first time as part of this deal – we’ve seen the reception to its innovative slots across the world and are delighted to bring them to our players.”
