Tuesday’s Best WNBA Player Prop Bets

Sabrina Ionescu Over 20.5 points (-115)

Though Ionescu is averaging 19.4 points per game, she has scored 21 or more points in four consecutive. She scored 28 against the Chicago Sky in Saturday’s 81-67 win over the team. The Sun are obviously a much better team than the Sky, but Ionescu actually played against the Sun during her current streak, and she scored 21 points.

In her first meeting with the Sun this season, Ionescu scored 24 points on 8-of-16 shooting. The Sun have the best defense in the league, allowing 72.5 points per game. But Ionescu has had success against them despite both of her games against them being played in Connecticut. Now, she gets to take them on in New York. When two of the best teams in the league play, expect the best players on the court to show up.

Angel Reese Over 13.5 points (+102)

On Saturday, Reese ended her 15-game double-double streak, as she managed only eight points against the Liberty. It was her lowest point total since June 1. The streak being over is going to benefit Reese moving forward. It had certainly been a distraction, and it’s hard to believe that it wasn’t affecting her play. After all, she was just 8-of-30 from the floor in her last two games.

When Reese faced the Aces earlier this season, she put up 18 points on 7-of-16 shooting. For a player shooting over 40% from the floor, that is the type of performance we expect tonight. While Reese may struggle to hit her rebounding number, which is set at 13.5, we do think she is going to finally shoot over 30% for the first time in three games. This will allow her to get to 14 points and end a streak of three consecutive games with 11 or fewer.

Nneka Ogwumike Over 17.5 points (-102)

Ogwumike has had an up-and-down last four games. In two of those contests, she scored 24 or more points. In the other two, she scored 10 or fewer. Which version of Ogwumike is going to show up tonight?

Ogwumike is averaging 17.1 points power game this season. In her only game against the Sparks, she scored 26 on 11-of-15 shooting. The Sparks are one of the worst defensive teams in the league, allowing 85.2 points per game. Ogwumike has shown she has no problem taking advantage of mismatches, and that’s exactly what tonight’s game presents. For this price, there’s no reason not to take this.
